Well my first vacation was successful. I feel like I disconnected from everything SO much that I’m finding it a little challenging trying to reconnect with my regular life. I feel slow in the head almost. I tried to stay away from technology...and as a result I found out about Jennifer Hudson sooo late.

I fell in love with this place called Hanuama Bay. It felt like a private tropical island. They say the jellyfish rinse onto shore exactly 10 days after a full moon. Interesting to see that connection between the moon and fish.

The surroundings were so beautiful they make you want to be in love so you can share the experience with someone, but I took everything in for myself and hope to revisit someday with someone I can share it with.

I came back to a mini-soap opera though. Apparently some dude I used to go to lunch with regularly had all this crazy baggage and it started exploding in my email when I got back.

Can’t go into detail here, but in a short summary...Thank goodness that God protects babies and fools. Because things could have been much worse…for example, it could have been more than lunch…but there was always divine order in the form of an inconvenience, flip-flop schedules or miscommunication…blocking anything further from happening. (Thank you God)

Gotta get the lesson this time around…because I don’t want to repeat this again...besides, I’m feeling the spirit of love real strong…just want to be in it right now..maybe its on the way Smile Maybe its because winter is approaching .

Anywho, I have lots of pictures from the vacation. We went to a place called the Polynesian Cultural Center…where people from surrounding islands came together to display the cultures of their region. I met people from Fiji, Tahiti, Samoa, Tonga…it was real cool (Fiji people look just like us...some of them even rock big afros and long locs). Soon as I replace my computer, I’ll post some pictures.
