This book is whatsup. I had it for a while, but I was recently drawn to it again.
The full title is RICH DAD, POOR DAD: what the rich teach their kids about money - that the poor and middle class do not
I love it and am making some changes already. I'm in Chapter 3 and the running theme is that...
people think the answer to their problems is obtaining more money, but really the problem is in your spending habits, financial illiteracy...and not knowing the real meaning / difference between an asset and liability.
The theme is the POOR DAD who is a college professor, owns a home, makes good money - but is financially illiterate and works to pay bills...and then there is the RICH DAD who didn't finish high school (?), owns several properties, runs a business, has a cash flow that to his income, is the financially literate one.
They talk about how & why people become slaves to their jobs...and a whole lot more.
I'm only on chapter 3...and I'm going to get rid of my storage space that I rent...because I know this is an asset ...I'll have to sell or junk that stuff I'm holding onto...there are some other changes I'll make.
