So yesterday, I started back up with my workout regime. I think I am accepting that until I'm at certain level of comfortable living, my workout patterns may be checkered.

I accept that I may only work out for 2 weeks regularly and take off for 2 months. I accept that sometimes other things compete, but when i can do it - DOOOOO it.

So yesterday, I was full of energy. Came home from sluggish - yucky brain drain work day and did 20 minutes of cardio and some lunges, and squats. Normally I don't sweat too much in my workouts, but this time, I did and it seemed like such a release. Endorphins, adrenaline rush - something.

I still feel it.

And as good as it feels, I know there is a high possibility that this time next month, I may slide off the bandwagon - even though i know how good it is for my well being, SO I just set a small realistic goal -

For the next 2 weeks, I will commit to working out 3 times per week.

It's always helped me to try to make it part of my routine. That way, even when I feel unmotivated, I do it just out of habit. I try to work out at the same times on the same days every week and to eat light meals 1.5 to 2 hours before workout times.
