I am amazed by the power of water...I've been drinking a lot of it soon as I think I may be coming down with a cold and it flushes the cold out / dilutes it, before it settles in.

almost better than Airborne LOL

its just tasteless thats all...

i've tricked myself to like things i don't like when it comes to healthy foods...took me a couple of years. but i think of drinking water, like breathing: breathing is essential, usually odorless. drinking water is essential, (and better be tasteless)...takes time, but its better to start young

Didn't you say one of the girls are into drinking water?

**when i was younger i drank milk more than i drank kool-aid. I would put ice in it and have it with every meal. Now I'm older and I don't bother with it much.

if you drink it with crystal light that helps. you end up grinking more water than you normally would and it tastes like juice. i think it has little to no calories in it. maybe 5 at the most.

my dad always tells me, "water is your friend." lol. i started drinking it with crystal light. that helps A LOT. i would also drink it with lemon, but it's just SO hard to drink it by itself.

but, you're right...i think it is a good flush.

my kids eat/drink A LOT beter than i do. lol. no soda, lots of juice, lots of fresh fruits and veggies, water, milk, and all of that good stuff. i'm getting better though.

KINDA RELATED

anybody see that TV Commercial (link below) about a TAX on juice drinks AND sodas? It's where a mother; I think she's returning from family food shopping. She's talks about how the washington legislators are discussing implementing a tax on these items...

idk... i really don't hava problem w/ an "extra" tax on soda; it's not really like its a necessity in the preservation of life... i mean it's something we can live without; sorta like a luxury

..pure water, "real" fruit juices, mom's milk,,, now that's sumptin else. but yeah, luxuries like soda, jock water, enhanced juices... i think they can be taxed a little more when it's justified & proven the economy needs an influx of capital
