Yellow #5

I have a taste for some Doritos...I'm thinking about the bright artificial color...that I haven't seen on any cheese. I remember Mos Def saying, "Ya'll n--gas is slipping in yellow #5"....

So what is it really? Did a little research...its some kind of dye used in Africa and Sweden (and over here its popular in our snack foods). Its banned in Norway and supposedly linked to hyperactivity.

The wikipedia article says its linked to hyperactivity in kids. That means my kids won't be allowed to eat Doritos. They're just gonna have to watch daddy enjoying them.
