For the next 7 days...I am challenging myself to 60 minutes of yoga per day.
So far so good. I stop on Saturday. I'm seeing positive results already. My circulation has improved significantly. Before my knees would feel real weird at work (from sitting - even if i did get up more often)...and now they feel cool.
My favorite pose is the shoulder stand. This is supposed to be really good for you because it reverses the pull of gravity and tones all the organs. They say "its the queen of all positions" in yoga.
I decided to do it because...after Tiffany Bacon's birthday party, seeing how everybody was moving on the dancefloor, it made me think about how sedentary i have become. I want to do more with my body...not get all stiff from these office jobs...so this is the first step, yoga. I would mind playing a sport...or some other leisure like skating, volleyball, or even...(old school) kickball.
This is a great benefit. I'm wondering if there will be any other changes by Saturday. I noticed that some people around me have gotten sick, but i don't know if i can credit my immunity to yoga or just getting lots of rest and water
