Eye Color

Does anyone have a theory about what makes peoples eyes change colors?
Is it the mood their in, the weather, environment, ect...?

don't know but i have a cousin who's eyes change colors so much....i asked her what color were her eyes...she said "I don't know"

SPEAKING of eye color....I was just thinking about how cat's eyes have their glowing look if you look at that from a certain angle? is it because of night vision?

my mom's eyes have changed over time from light hazel/green to a medium brown. i think the difference was time.

My eyes are starting to become lighter than normal. They might not make it to be as light as my mothers, but people have always asked me what color my eye are and i would shrug my shoulders because it depends on what type of light is available.

Lately, i've noticed that they're becoming more consistent with a chestnut brown hue.

When I was born, my eyes were icey grey. By the time I was two or three, they were hazel and have kinda remained so over the years. They do what they want, I dunno.
I noticed they change slightly based on time of year, weather, mood and what clothes I wear (which I think just appears to be a different color near my clothes but not really a change in color. )

Anyone else notice though how older people, particularly people of African descent, eyes start to change color around the edges to like a grey-blue??

yes i have noticed that. my great grandmothers eyes were like that. now i notice it in my grandmother. its only around the edges like you said.

my dad's eyes are blue around the edges and have been for the past few years - he says the doctor told him it was his cholesterol that made them change colors.
