That's Linderman. In the first season, he had a huge plot to destroy NYC. He was the guy in the background pulling a lot of people's strings until he died (or so we thought) near the end.

When we last saw him, his power was to heal things. Clearly he still has that power because he brought Nathan back. The invisible thing is new. I dunno if it's through his own power or someone else's. One of the themes for this season seems to be new/changed powers. We have to wait for them to reveal what's going on here.

The first season was all about the older generation of "heroes" manipulating the younger generation, so i don't doubt there is something going on here. Nathan and Niki (who is now Tracy) were two of the most manipulated people in that season.
