When a man has his spouse pregnant, is it true that he has some symptoms as well?

I've only seen that on sitcoms, and even then, it was a psychological thing. . . . . . . consulting google . . . . . . Apparently there are plenty of documented cases of sympathetic pregnancy and it can have observable physical effects on a man. Scientists don't know if it's because of hormones, psychology, or something else. Some guys even get big stomachs. http://health.howstuffworks.com/sympathy-pregnancy.htmhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sympathetic_pregnancy

When I was pregnant with my daughter, I would feel bad for my ex. He suffered right along with me. He was exhausted, had cravings, and was nauseous and sick all the time. At first, I thought he was trying to upstage me. But, he looked how I felt and NO ONE could fake that!

I'm a hopeless romantic, too. So I agree with you. That was undoubtedly the closest we ever were throughout our entire relationship. It got on everyone else's nerves, though. LOL

| yeah, it may seem strange but men do get those symptoms sometimes when their spouse is pregnant. the day before i found out that i was going to be a father i was nauseous. heavin' all over the house and dizzy. if it hadnt happene to me i wouldnt believe it possible. _________________ "Ize married now!"- Mrs. Kisha Gaymon - original version by Suge Avery
