there is something with me, water, and my surroundings and i'm not sure what it is...but it is eerie...

quick background info...i'm a picses, born in atlantic city a block away from the ocean. i grew up around water and played in water. water has always calmed me - either by sound or by sight. most of my vacations are near bodies of water. i respect the water for its power, stregnth, and nourishment. i moved closer to philly and i miss living by the shore like crazy. my dream house would either be lake front, bay front, or ocean front (if i become a Basketball

now for the eerie part...i went on vacation 2 years ago and when i came back my house was flooded (some of you may remember.) the toliet leaked and the water soaked through the ceiling and destroyed on both floors parts of the ceiling, some walls, some floors, and some furniture. Some of you saw how my house looked when i had the BBQ. the odd thing is, when i returned from this vacation i came into work and there is a leak on the ceiling only above my cube - no where else. apparently there was a light drip yesterday while i was out, but through the night it became worse and i had to be relocated as they place 3 buckets to catch the constant drips until it is fixed.

my question is - am i reading too much into all of this? or is all of this water trying to tell me something? confused

Water is a powerful force...across the board in several religions.

There is a lot to learn from it when we compare our everyday lives to water.

thats from a Nas song...and I think I heard it somewhere else before too.

***also I was talking with folks this weekend and water has a role in a lot of the new movies..for example in WANTED, everytime someone was near death, they were put in this extremely hot water...then in Hancock there was an incident with water that Vision can explain a little better than I can.

i dreamed about water again...

this time it was like a hurricane...water and wind was coming through the front door and i wasn't strong enough to close it. by the time it stopped, the door was closed, but the wind thingy (with the rooster that's normally on roofs) was on the top of the door making it hard to open. my furniture was ruined, but everyone was safe...my landlord came and surveyed the damage and he and my friends looked at me like 'why does this keep happening to you?' when i woke up, i was surprised that i did because it all seemed so real.

Might be a premonition girl....Cause I had a dream like that 2 weeks before hurricane katrina (i don't think i posted it though)

If this is a premonition...sounds like a similar flood / hurricane coming...the rooster thing might be a cue that it will be down south somewhere...

don't know, might just be a dream, but you never know.

*In my dream, I had a flood in my apt. Water was pouring from the ceiling. 2 white men came rushing in saying wow its a mess in here. They went in the stairwell and said something about some pipes. Then I saw this party boat (like the Spirit of Philadelphia) and there was nothing but black folks on it. they looked sad, waiting for something. I kept thinking why are they sad on this party boat? My old boyfriend from PITT was on there too.

So thats why I see your dream and i get goosebumps...like aww sh-t...is something about to go down again...maybe its just a dream though
