On Myspace, I'm doing a survey on the most creative hip-hop song of all time.

So far the highest votes have been for:

Rewind - Nas
The Cool - Lupe Fiasco
I Used to Love H.E.R - Common

Other votes are scattered all over but these are the ones getting the most love.

I particulary think Nas' Rewind is the most clever, creative UNMATCHED hip-hop song of all time

What about~

Stray Bullet by Organized Konfusion
Invetro by Organized Konfusion

And then the two by Nas, which he took the exact same concepts from the Organized Konfusion songs and redid them:

I Gave You Power by Nas
Fetus by Nas

Also,

My Rhyme Ain't Done by LL Cool J
Milky Cereal by LL Cool J
I Can't Wake Up by KRS-One
Bitties in the BK Lounge by De La Soul
The Wacky World of Rapid Transit by Del
You Can't Stop the Prophet by Jeru the Damaja

Yep,

Some folks recommended the songs by Organized Konfusion.

I didn't think "I Gave You Power" by Nas was that original...because Tupac did something like that with "Me and My Girlfriend"

See this bothers me because Nas wasn't the first to say a story backwards... Lupes' "the cool" is about a man who gets up from his grave to die a second time from the samething that originally killed him which is chasing something that's going to make him "cool"... Creative but way too long and drawned out to make such a non creative point... And common's "used to love H.E.R." is only creative for it's time i'm assuming because it sonds like the typical signature "respect to old skool era" poem that i hear every open mic night...

NAS I GAVE YOU POWER CAME BEFORE PAC'S VERSION ME AND MY GIRLGRIEND SAME CONCEPT BUT BOTH HAVE UNIQUE FLAVOR AND STYLE TO IT BOTH GREAT CLASSICS...JUST AS ORGANIZE CONFUSION VERSION ARE DIFFERENT AS ARTIST PUT THEIR OWN SPIN ON SONGS MAKING THEM STILL CREATIVE CONCEPTS.AS LONG AS THEIR NOT THIRTY VERSION OF THE CONCEPT. I WOULD ADD NAS'S BOOK OF RYHMES SONG FROM GOD'S SON CD ,DR BOOT KNOCK FROM THE I AM CD,FRIED CHICKEN,PROJECT ROACH FROM THE NIGGER CD AND LAST THE SEKU STORY FROM STREET DISCPLE DOUBLE CD. THER MORE BUT I THINK NAS IS THE MOST CREATIVE RAPPER WITH COMMERCIAL SUCCESS IN THE GAME.
