and it remains amongst us
showing its hand while hoisting signs
placards of undeserved...unreserved disdain
critical S-S ism's...borderline insanity
such a pity
knowing they’ve crossed that line...a few or more times

they factor in
within our memories
memories of burnt crosses crossing our minds
where we find
time & time again an almost inherent evil
their upheavals showing the world
displaying how they really are...how it was

Blanco Psychos out for blood ::scheming
all the time screaming
no redeeming; wanting to bludgeon Our Change...each change
with each chance they get...

the Stub-born Ones..
how we cannot forget
how they perceive; in considering strange ::Life
moving on; moving going forward
where for them...it’s too fast
where with them...being w/ US feels too much like last
them wanting to avoid that 2nd class...No coach
the Stub-born Ones
longing for a past wherein they thought..
better said, they believe that ::everyone should know their place
this...defined by their race...racing towards a dark end
simply put; that’s not our trend...each tribe
each one can lend
but it’s not the case w/ them
and they won’t bend

so why should we pretend?

in these days, their problems are our challenges
and they’ve again shown their face
yet our truest response; also has shown a face
wherein each time out
it paces & faces the affront

while surely it’s a handsome face; mixed
birthed by what can be found
found within the groundswell of all humanity
a whole world sensibility
rooted in the bright moments
of a brighter future.

either direction or steam. also avoids the
convenient hyperbole or familiar rhetoric.
clear-headed writing always impresses
the socks off me & when it is mated to
wicked wordcraft the results are studied,
