Heard on the news that Chris Brown willl get no jail time but will get 5 years probation (that includes check in reports with the judge, restraining order to stay away from Rhianna - except for music related functions).

to me, this whole situation stressed the relevance of cycles in your life. even if you KNOW something is wrong, you still find yourself in the same situation a parent was in (some how.) he saw his mother being abused, and then he became an abuser.

the cycles will repeat until someone has the wisdom to recognize them, the courage to try and stop the cycle, and the strength to see it through. i hope this opened his eyes and he surrounds himself with people that will provide support to make the necessary changes to make him a better man. i hope rihanna learned from this as well. it's just a hard way to learn a lesson.

i heard this morning that he possibly violated probation last night. apparently he is supposed to stay away from places that serve alcohol and he was spotted at a club. but in the music industry, how is he supposed to avoid clubs?
