normally, i'm not a big fan. i can't do american idol, you have talent, tiny n toya, or stuff like that. however, i love almost everything bravo airs:

  • project runway (even though it's on lifetime now)
  • top chef (even though i wouldn't eat 1/2 of the shit they make.)
  • the rachel zoe project (i'm REALLY getting into it this season)
  • flipping out (i don't know his name, but his OCD is comforting to me)

i realized that i like these shows because 1) it displays their passion for their professions and i learn from them, 2) i get to peak in fields different from my own, and 3) i get an idea of the amount of work and sacrifice involved for them to become successful.

i will admit i watch real housewives of atlanta because they are just STUPID. i also like the biggest loser on nbc. the contestants courage and will to succeed is inspiring. week by week you see them working hard and sacrificing to not only win money hopefully, but more importantly make a positive change in their lives. that's probably the only show they don't apply for with ideas of fame in mind.

do you watch reality tv? if so, why? if not, why not?

Haven't watched reality tv faithfully since the first season of the RealWorld in NewYork with Heather, Julie, Norm, Eric, Kevin, Becky, and Andre. The first is always the realist. Too bad they never found Smokie the cat.

Please. I was singing 'Lazy Bones' for like a month after Andre and his band made their video. Never missed an episode of that season.
