ok, i guess not...the worst for me was in college. i came back to the room one day after karee's mom visited and all my roomies were tearing up fish with the heads still on it.  the room smelled like fish and it was just yucky. i later learned (from my chinese friend) that serving fish w/o the head is disrepectful in some cultures and that the head signifies that it is fresh. i still wouldn't eat it...

Yea he counts. lol
I'll never 4get when one of my roommates coworkers was crashin at our spot for a few weeks. I get along with everyone, no matter the race, color, or creed.
Anyways, one morning i woke up getting ready to pick my fro. I looked down and the white girls hair strands were trapped in my comb:cry: .
I wasnt feelin that at all.

| I cook my fish with heads on.
I subletted a room in a big house one summer. The house normally held somewhere around 12 people but there were only 4 or 5 of us for the summer. It was real last minute, so I didn't have many options. The house looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. The blanket of dust was literally as thick as a blanket. The kitchen was in the worst condition I had ever seen - dishes in the sink for months. No one else used the kitchen, so i ended up cleaning a small area of it fo rmy own use. Still, I ate out as much as possible. When I was home, I didn't rally leave my room.

it's the eyes and the open mouth...i can't do it... (and i heard that the eyes were the best part to eat...) my friend had to take the shrimp head off for me when we went out to eat...then she told me that she was a 'bad chinese' because she didn't suck the juice and stuff out of the head.

| I don't eat the eyes and stuff, but the old folks where my mom is from did.

| ok, so they're not my roomates but i live in a town house so technically we're attached at the hip...
they moved in 2 weeks ago...so far my neighbors have:
1. parked in my assigned spot 3 days straight...i finally had to ask them to move their car... (and then he played stupid like he didn't know it was assigned even though 259 is CLEARLY marked on the spot.)
2. as my other neighbor was cutting my grass on saturday morning, the neighbor from the ghetto group had the nerve to peek her head over her fence and ask my neighbor to cut her's too. (can you say balls?)
3. they had a BBQ on sunday, i pulled up in my spot and there were like 10 kids playing on my front lawn and sitting on my kids bench (which is sits in front of my kitchen windows.)
who allows their guests to sit on someone else's lawn furniture? if it was hot out would they have turned on my water and played in my sprinklers? i just think that they have a lot of nerve to be new...but, maybe it's just me...

| I had a couple roommates in college. I wasn't always the best person, and I didn't live with the best people...I have a couple of stories.
In order of the greatest irritation:
1. THE OLDHEAD - Once I woke up in the morning and some random dude was in my roommates bed wide awake looking at me, like "what you got on underneath that blanket" - I was pissed because she didn't tell me somebody was staying the night...and that room was way to tiny for that. Plus, when I would see him around without her...he was looking at me that same way..but changed up when she came around.
2. THE VOODOO DOLL - I kind of got an attitude with her for his random stayovers that resulted in me doing a lot of dressing and changing in the bathroom stalls. (Grown ass man, over 25 hanging out in the freshman dorms...she should've been at his crib)...so as a result of my attitude...random quarter coin sized holes were cut out of a lot of my favorite clothing. Stuff was even ripped. She was from Haiti too.
3. THE INFAMOUS BATHTUB STORY - **Reuben, Vision, Damali heard this one - I had a roommate in Pittsburgh (school) who was quirky white girl, overly consciously about things...She was damn near aneorexic. Asked me "why do all African American women have big butts...don't they know that is considered fat" - (I was sporting my freshman 15 at that time)...She was a campus annoyance...She wanted a printout from the cafeteria of all the calories and fat in every item they serve (alot to ask for at that time)...was willing to protest about it. She went to bed VERY early...like 7 or 8pm. I came in once from a Bad Boy concert (Total, Jodeci, Mary J. Blige)...late. I had this bag of food from McD's...the bag was making a crumply noise when I took my food out. I didn't turn on any lights...I was going to eat in the dark just to avoid waking her. She started getting smart..."Can you be any louder?"
That was it for me. I didn't do anything to her...I just told her her best was go back to sleep. She asked me was I threatening her and then she got up and slept in the bathtub. She moved out the next day. Left me some long letter talking about why she moved out. I'm like, "I really don't need an explanation - you just blessed me with a triple room all to myself - two bathrooms!!!"
4. THE FLIRT - When I went to Temple...we had a suite. One roommate would always come into our room when we had male company...and she would be just talking about anal sex...wouldn't even be on that kind of subject...she would just find a way to bring it up.
5. THE DIVA - Apparently, I was a real meanie...when I moved out of one dorm...They knew I was thinking about moving...but when I did it must've surprised them...I took the shower curtain, the iron, the iron board - they were mine, but they thought that I should have left it for them to use  They came and cussed me out about it. And then had the nerve to borrow the iron from my roommate when I wasn't there.

damn i feel you swayyah.
a little while ago i rented a house in North Philly. The house was beautiful. but some of my neighbors were the worstesest ever.
