| Which one do you like best: Myspace or Facebook?
And why?
I have been thinking of starting a facebook but I don't need another password and login to remember....what do you like about them? |

| I haven't used facebook at all and I dont plan too. I'm tired of social networking sites.
From what I've read about the different sites - Myspace is the best one if you're an artist trying to put your stuff out there. Facebook is the best one if you just want to be connected to your real friends instead of a bunch of random people. LinkedIn is the one to go to if you're trying to network in the professional world. _________________ blog.AhdChild.com - My Blog www.AhdChild.com - My Music and stuff |

| | In all honesty, I could care less about either one. |

| Me and my cousin had this discussion the other day and it is talked about quite frequently. He was talking about how his girl doesnt give him the attention or affection that he needs b/c as soon as she walks in the door, she starts getting on these two websites and stays there for hours at a time. In a way, she's cheating on him with those websites. Its totatlly destroying their relationship.
I can understand where he's coming from. People put their entire lives on those sites. What type of mood their in, income level, occupation, relationship status, and ect. Pics of their kids and the list goes on.
Personally, i use it for networking. I can go days without checking those accounts until my email notification alerts me of new messages. People tell me all the time "You need to change the song on your page cause its been up there for 2 long." Whatever.
It works for some, and others like myself, it doesnt. It bores me. I can care less about tryna see how other people are doing who i no longer communicate with on a personal level.
Jobs are now looking at those sites to look into their applicants lives.
Like stated earlier, for me, its just for networking because i have a life outside of cyberspace. People wonder why stalkers/crazy Ex's have an easier time locating them: Because you took a pic right outside of your house. He/she sees the address right behind your head! _________________ Carpe Diem |

| i thought about facebook - but the truth is - i'm exhausted. fifty-leven login and passwords to remember...Myspace seems to be a one-stop shop for me as an artist. i'm just not budging in another direction...HOWEVER, i do hate feeling like there's something i'm missing out on.
i know that A&R's use myspace religiously...haven't heard anyone in the entertainment bizz mentioning facebook yet.
when i was at borders a while back, there was a facebook magazine and the layout looked really nice - except there were about 2 black folks in all 120 pages. |
