Listening to the radio...

Is there a set amount of time a person should give themselves before starting a new relationship?
1. a few months
2. doesn't matter
3. depending on how serious it was
4. depending on how crazy the ex is
5. other

For example:

Coming from a long-term relationship
Coming from a marriage
Coming from a short-term relationship
...does it differ?


The radio program says a person should wait 12 months and if they try to jump the gun...they will be toxic to someone pursuing them

Personally, I give myself time to breathe. Never been the clingy type anyway. I enjoy freedom and personal space.
At least 6 months.

Sometimes it doesn't take a year. Sometimes it takes more. Depends on the person.

It depends on the person and it depends on the relationship. You might get out of one relationship and be ready for another within a few weeks, but then need months to recuperate from the next. Time is a horrible metric for this kind of thing.

see i don't think you can put a limit on it. I think you go with the flow.. and if it takes a year for that flow to come then thats what it does if its a week then hey thats all good too. can't control when it comes it just comes!!!!
