Something doesnt add up about this. The person you are dating is burglarizing your home? Stealing your laptop? Killing your dog? All while you are dating them? scratch

Do you think he was jealous of the dog? *some people do get jealous of attention that you give animals - especially if you give the animal more attention.

I remember when i was about to get a cat...this guy I was seeing was trying to talk me out of it, saying, Dont get a cat, cause then you wont give me the same attention.

I didnt understand what he meant till later when I started calling the cat Boo-Boo and stuff like that. Always petting it and buying little toys for it,

lol!

Wow. This sounds like way more than jealousy. Maybe he got off from making the other guy vulnerable and deoendant on him.

good point. I read a fiction story about a pimp who did something like that (burglary) once...so the girl could feel like she needed him to protect her.

I think it's funny/interesting that no one really cares about what the actual guy went through or is going through. they're only talking about the darn dog! the guys house was broke in several times, his laptop was stolen, and his boyfriend turned out to be a crazy, threatening, dog killer. Maybe I'm just one of those people who are jealous of pets, but sometimes i just think people give them way too much attention. No..No.. sorry, they treat them better than the people they have in their lives. But that was just awful what he did to that dog! he definitely needs some type of help.

**did you ever see that email that was out when Katrina hit? The one where they had people still in the water and in torn down houses, and the animals that got caught in the flood were being shipped out to somewhere safe on coach buses! cheers

when a friend of mine started dating her husband he had a cat and she and the cat didn't get along at all. she said that anytime she would visit, the cat would go and sit on his lap and wouldn't move. i forgot what happened to it...

I do remember seeing footage of animals being rescued during Katrina. That had to feel like, "damn...they would rather rescue a dog than rescue me"...

There are a lot people that have become attached to animals in a blinding way that they treat them as equals to humans. They are living animals...just like humans tho. Maybe its because they have become like roommates?

I remember a woman who had her answering service say her name and the dogs name, and that they were not available to answer the phone.
lol!

The guy has to be a little traumatized by the situation...he probably won't be dating for a while...or at least paranoid as hell.

I wonder if the cat was a female cat?

My cat treats male and female visitors differently. With males, he sniffs their shoes and coats - thoroughly, then he just watches them. With females (no matter the age), he rubs against them.

I wonder if the cat you mention was a female cat, blocking
