Are you a light sleeper and find it difficult to sleep with a snorer? Has anyone told You that the loud noises you make during sleep irritate them?

i don't sleep with a snorer, but when my daughter sleeps in my bed and she scratches at her eczema in her sleep it bothers me and wakes me up. i have to yell at her to stop and then put lotion on her while she's sleeping. i guess it would be the same thing as sleeping with a snorer...

afro

My king is a snorer. I'm a heavy sleeper though and for the most part it doesn't bother me. When he gets too loud I nudge him and I usually don't hear it again unless I wake up to start my day before he does.

I am an extremely loud snorer. I have been compared to a fat trucker. (I am a female Smile ) My daughter does a wonderful impersonation. Leaves me laughing every time. I get it honest, from my father. We would all be in the living room and he would snore so loud that we couldn't hear the television anymore. When he was in his bedroom snoring we could hear him on the floor underneath. We are extremely loud snorers. I also used to grind my teeth as a child.

I've been thinking about going to a sleep specialist. Although I'm not extremely tired or anything, I just wonder if my quality of sleep could be better... and I would have never known!!!! Imagine the dreams I could be having Smile

a friend of mine went to a sleep speciallist because in between his snores, he would stop breathing. his wife caught it somehow - he didn't even know he was doing it. i think he's taking meds for it...

sometimes some of the worst snorers have that sleep apnea that alyson was talking about. that has to be checked out cause it's life threatening. i have relatives who've dealt with that, like my uncle and my aunt. often times it's cause someone is overweight.
